United manager Jose Mourinho made four changes from the team which drew 1-1 with Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday. When quizzed how far away the United were from being the best team in the country, the 54-year-old said, "Far. because the best team, in the Premier League, is the team with more points".

Don't say they're out of it just yet.

United, whose leading scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic started on the bench, were rewarded for a vibrant display when they struck again in the 49th minute.

"I think he is right in this matter because I was not feeling good in the sense of I was feeling exhausted", he told the English press. Today we deserved to lose the game.

Courtois has been one of the standout performers throughout the season but he will have to watch his team-mates as they try to regain their seven point lead at the top of the table.

"For 3rd time we play @ChelseaFC after/between Europa games Makes planning + prep easier for them + more hard for us", Stone said in his tweet, which you can see below.

How Jordan Montgomery went from spring longshot to Yankees fifth starter
Jordan Montgomery's take away from his first major league start for the Yankees wasn't so much the aura of Yankee Stadium. Higashioka, who made his debut in the ninth inning Monday, caught Montgomery 13 times in the minors previous year .

"That game was totally controlled when we played with 11 players and only the [refereeing] decision that made us play with 10 players for all the second half, plus 10 minutes in the first half, gave Chelsea a chance to be dominant". But we are still grinding, still pushing, because we have this Europa League and the end of the Premier League. "We fight for it". Yet, if the Red Devils self-destruct (as they're known to do from time to time) it wouldn't the end of the world in the manager's eyes. However, they enjoyed a good outing in the Premier League last weekend as they beat Sunderland 3-0.

"I can't think of many occasions, with anybody I've worked with, where someone has been criticised publicly and it's really paid dividends".

And Mourinho clearly relished getting one over them at Old Trafford, delighting United fans by pointing to their badge as he walked into the tunnel.

He said United's unbeaten league run stretching back to defeat by Chelsea on October 23 is "nothing we focus on".

While Chelsea is no longer the free-wheeling team seen in the weeks before Christmas, having gone nine league games without a clean sheet, it boasts a formidable record against United.
