Only the tables are not in blue but made with engraved zinc, which vice president creative director Richard Moore told Vanity Fair are meant to be scratched and worn-in. Hepburn may have stuck to her iconic croissant while gleaming up at the window-front, but shoppers today will have choices well beyond the pastry-all while sitting inside a space that feels like a real-life little blue box.
Actress Audrey Hepburn starred in the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's and featured in a memorable scene in which she was dressed to the nines in Givenchy while nibbling on a croissant and sipping a coffee early in the morning in front of Tiffany's NY jewellery store. There are, however, croissants, which can be ordered as part of a prix fix breakfast.
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea will be served. It includes options like truffled eggs, smoked salmon bagel, and, for a throughly modern twist, avocado toast.
Olivia Wilde and Riley Keough were both on hand for the launch event on Wednesday night as well.
