Xbox One X lives up to its billing as "the world's most powerful console", impressively improving the performance of all games on the system, and able to run many that choose to support it in 4K resolution and at a smooth 60 frames per second.
It appears the Xbox One X is off to a strong start in the United Kingdom, outselling its closest competitor during its respective launch week.
GamesIndustry.biz has revealed that the Xbox One X sold over 80,000 units in the United Kingdom in its first week of sales, beating the PS4 Pro sales and matching the Switch's launch. They seem to have got the start they wanted with the Xbox One X. It would be interesting to see how things go from here for Xbox One X. Getting the other 4 games separately will cost you more than 100 pounds and that is another reason why the Sony Black Friday PS4 Pro bundle is such great value for money.
This is a good result for Microsoft, especially since the first week sales of Sony's cheaper PS4 Pro were a little over 50,000 in the country back in November 2016. Two variants of Xbox One X was made available at launch - Xbox One X Standard Edition and the Project Scorpio Edition: most of the sales were for the special edition, about 55% of the overall launch week sales. This was, reportedly, the same amount the Nintendo Switch did during its debut back in March.

I'll find out who played well tonight (for the Under-21s), who warrants the decision, and liaise with Aidy (Boothroyd) on that and go from there".
What do you think of this recent report?
