Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery will not return versus the Chicago Bears on Sunday, due to an injury to his ribs.

He was carted to the locker room and did not return to the game.

According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Jones will be out 3-6 weeks with an MCL injury. He produced two games with over 100 rushing yards during his first three starts but was held to just 24 total rushing yards over the last two games. Williams doesn't offer much in the way of pass-catching ability or explosiveness, and fourth-stringer Devante Mays has yet to record a touch in the NFL.

The Packers, 5-4, play host to the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday.

The Gaza front has been relatively peaceful for Israel since 2014 when more than 2100 Palestinians and 70 Israelis were killed in a 50-day war.

Jones was injured early in the Packers' game Sunday against the Bears at Soldier Field. Missing all six weeks would leave him available for Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.

Green Bay selected Jones out of UTEP in the fifth round of the 2017 National Football League draft.

We'll keep tabs on Montgomery's ribs throughout the week and update accordingly.
