Do you remember Polaroids? Today, however, Motorola has unveiled a new Moto Mod for the Moto Z family of smartphones that is called the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer, that could offer the best of both worlds.
The technology is a little more advanced here.
If you have a compatible phone, such as the Moto Z2 Force, you'll be able to clip this unusual addition to the back, and then print your photos straight from your phone, onto 2 x 3-inch Polaroid paper. ZINK paper uses no ink and uses a thermal process to press pictures onto paper in a single press.
Back in the day, the way most people took photos was with a Polaroid instant camera of the sort that shot pictures out the front for you to watch develop before your eyes.
The biggest question remaining is how much you'd be willing to pay for the ability to print 2 x 3-inch pictures right from your phone. Or, you could just buy the standalone Polaroid ZIP Mobile Printer for half the cost.
What do you think of the idea of the Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod?
