Saturday Night Live gave a love letter to President Obama tonight in the form of a musical number called "Come Back Barack".
Chance The Rapper is gearing up for hosting Saturday Night Live tonight (November 18), so he swung through The Tonight Show to talk with Jimmy Fallon, esteemed SNL alum, about his return to the show and other things on his mind.
"I feel like we're all gonna die".
In a pre-taped sketch, Chance the Rapper, Kenan Thompson and Chris Redd sang as a '90s R&B boyband and beg former President Barack Obama to resume office. You know, I'm a huge fan of the show and I know that when they bring guest hosts, they usually come with a few ideas at least, especially if they're into comedy, so I brought a few sketches by. "Like really bad, like World War bad, like nuclear bad." they sang, with Chance adding, "When I think of change, the only change I want is you!" "We'll see how it goes".
"For real, why would you leave us?" "Maybe Michelle could run", they sang.
In his monologue, Chano declared his intent to capitalize on a Thanksgiving hit the way Mariah Carey has laid claim to Christmas with her quintessential "All I Want For Christmas". Who said that forlorn love songs were logical? Chance also attended the Obama Foundation's inaugural summit earlier this month.
