The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has welcomed the return of the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to its fold on Sunday.
She, however, said the present administration was working hard to provide good governance for the people but Nigerians can not expect President Buhari to fix the problems of over a decade in two years.
Ekeremadu, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Uche Anichukwu, on Sunday, was reacting to the defection of the former vice president from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP.
"I joined the APC as I had hoped it would be the new force that would help improve life for our people and I was excited about the party's manifesto to create 3 million new jobs a year".
Onochie, in her response, faulted the claims that the Federal Government has failed the people, saying the APC was trying to fix the mistakes of the previous administrations. "I applied, but wasn't issued a visa", added the former Vice President.

"I think Alhaji Abubakar Atiku has lost touch with reality; I think he needs to check again".
The former vice president has indicated that he plans to travel round the country in the coming months to interact with Nigerians on other issues affecting the country.
Earlier, from 1999-2007 he was vice president for the center-right PDP.
"I saw an article that said that the transfer season is open with Atiku's move".
The party called on all its members still in the APC or other parties as well as others frustrated in the party to return.
