Apple TV will finally get Amazon Prime Video

Apple TV gets Amazon Prime Video app at last, Mr Robot here we come

The post on Reddit revealed that Apple might have started to advertise the Amazon Prime Video app in the App Store a bit earlier than anticipated because it has since been taken down.

The 4K Apple TV costs £179 for a 32GB model, £199 for a version with 64GB of storage.

Amazon Prime Video has finally landed on Apple TV, around six months after Tim Cook first said it was coming.

To date, Amazon's video service has not been available on Apple TV, unlike other popular third-party services such as Netflix and Hulu.

The app comes just in time for the launch of the second series of The Grand Tour - the car-related TV show starring ex-Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Israel Strikes Syrian Military Site Near Damascus
Jamraya contains a military research facility, which was hit by what was believed to have been an Israeli attack in 2013. Several Arab media reports last weekend suggested that the strike purportedly killed 12 Iranian military personnel.

Now if only Apple could fix the bad Apple TV remote.

With Apple now having 18 of the 19 most watched apps of its competing streaming box, Roku, the absence of the Amazon Prime Video app has always been one of Apple TV's more glaring shortcomings.

You can find the Amazon Prime Video app on iTunes HERE. In case you didn't know - Amazon stopped selling the Apple TV on its website mainly due to the fact that it had no presence of Amazon Prime Video at all on Apple's TV platform.

If you wish to download the app right now, simply head over to the App Store in tvOS and do a search for Amazon Prime Video.
