Harry Kane will be among those rested for Tottenham's final Champions League group game with the team's progress to the knockout stages already assured.

Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, the former Spurs star said: "We expect so much from big talents and Dele Alli is one of them, he's definitely a huge talent for Tottenham and England".

"Every time I know when I'm not playing well and if it's not going well for me, it's important that I keep working hard and trying every day to learn and improve as a player".

Pochettino will rest key players ahead of a busy fixture schedule after Spurs, who have qualified for the last 16, failed to win any of their last four Premier League matches.

However, midfielder Dele Alli will play as he attempts to regain his form after an indifferent start to the season. "We've got a great team, a great manager, great staff, so we're looking forward to getting into the next game and getting going". However, Pochettino believes his players may have taken their eyes off the ball in the Premier League.

"It was nice to do that and it got me going, raring to go for the next game".

"I can not complain about the effort or many things, only that for different reasons we have struggled to get good results in the last few games".

Russian President Strongly Hints Will Run For Reelection, Stops Short Of Announcing
Mr Medvedev had the presidential term extended to six years and then stepped down to let Mr Putin reclaim the presidency in 2012. President Vladimir Putin has thus made an official announcement about his readiness to run for president for the fifth term.

The dip has seen them fall 18 points behind Manchester City and four adrift of the top four.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says his struggling side can thrive on criticism over their patchy form, admitting the team have not yet learned the winning habit of teams such as Real Madrid.

"I can not complain about the effort or many things, only that for different reasons we have struggled to get good results in the last few games".

"I have learned a lot so far this season and in the two years previously", Alli said.

"We are focused on this game because it's so important to win, important to finish the Champions League well and it's so important to build our momentum again".

"Of course the striker always needs to score", said Pochettino, according to the Evening Standard.
