"I mean, I don't think you ever do feel settled, [but] as soon as you feel settled with your home and your personal life, you're looking at the world and going, 'How in the hell do I fix this?"

Former Paramount Studios CEO Sherry Lansing explained in her speech at the event that she knew, right from their very first meeting, that everything would be fine with Lawrence and her exposure to the demands of mega-stardom that were about to come with The Hunger Games.

The Oscar-winning actress said she avoided sexual movie roles after her nude photos were stolen in a widespread hack in 2014.

Speaking as part of The Hollywood Reporter's Actress Roundtable, Lawrence recounted a time where a director made inappropriate remarks towards her. "You become more powerful, and people start f-cking with you less", she said. "He was paternal to me", she said.

Lawrence said if she ever met Trump, she'd rant at him and throw a martini in his face.

Lawrence, a board member for the non-profit organization Represent.Us, says she wants to embark on high school and college campus tours throughout the country: "I want to travel around to the areas I'm from so that people realize corruption is a completely nonpartisan issue". So I needed a moment to process everything because I thought I knew this guy, and then he was being accused of rape.

Mike Conway (R-Texas) had a different view on the interview, which lasted from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m., with a few breaks along the way. Appearing voluntarily, Donald Trump Jr. arrived out of sight of cameras through a back entrance to the U.S.

"I have such fear with my phone and my computer and electronics", Lawrence shared.

She said, "We all knew he was a dog, we knew that he was a tough guy, a brute, a tough guy to negotiate with".

Lansig then said that Lawrence then told her, "I have a secret".

"It's taking somebody's intellectual property but also my body", she said of the hacking incident. "But I was abused by a woman on a movie ..." I've been probably more insecure after a year ago, and I don't know if that's just a feeling of: I've got more to lose, I have more people to disappoint.

Lawrence asked: "As long as there is one group of humans that is overruling another one, there's going to be abuse, (and) why would we be thought of as equals?"

"There was this moment when all of this broke out and everybody was silent, and then all of a sudden, every actress" Twitter was blowing up with, "You need to come forward and you need to say something and you need to condemn!' Which is true: We do have a responsibility to say something; we've all worked with him, but everybody needed a moment".
