The mightily mysterious Death Stranding from Kojima Productions has just had new footage showcased at The Game Awards 2017. The eight-minute trailer gave us a much deeper look into the utterly freakish world of the first title to come from Kojima Productions. Unlike the debut E3 2016 glimpse at the game or the 2016 Game Awards trailer, this latest trailer gives us quite a few clues about possible gameplay mechanics and a few small strands of the storyline.
Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus must be having a hell of time trying to figure out just what the heck is going on. Reedus' chartacter warns another explosion is yet to come, one that'll be the last.
Wildfires continue to devastate southern California
The so-called Skirball fire forced officials earlier Wednesday to close down part of Interstate 405 - a key north-south artery. Although numerous homes were charred on Tuesday, firefighters were still dousing hot spots that flared up on Thursday morning.
While no one really knows what's going on here, and it's assumed we're still at least a year or two away from getting this game, believe it or not you can actually pre-order it now. The haunting trailer goes on to tease Sam and the team's enemies: several unusual, alien lifeforms only barely visible in the footage.
The baby also makes an appearance; as well as the familiar shots of Norman Reedus underwater. In it, we see Norman Reedus's character among a number of other character all wearing some kind of hazmat suit and being pursued by unnamed invisible creatures who seem to detect them based on sound.
