The chat show host was filling in for the general manager of the Los Angeles venue The Forum in a sketch on The Late Late Show, when he received an urgent call that one of Swift's dancers had been injured.

Corden made it to the dress rehearsal for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert and ended up coming to Swift's rescue to fill in a blank space (get it?) in her dance troupe.

Swift wore a black sequined top topped off with a rhinestone snake and matching shorts.

But when Taylor Swift entered Madison Square Garden on Friday night, the noise easily hit its peak.

But, Corden being Corden, he provided more comic relief than dazzling moves. Corden even helped T-Swift and her squad with some vocal warm-ups as he attempted to get Swift to sing her own name in a "Taylor" harmony.
