According to multiple reports on Sunday, the Cubs have agreed to a two-year contract worth 10-11 million per year with an option for 2020 in place with right-handed reliever Brandon Morrow.
Morrow is coming off a magnificent season with the Dodgers and will provide a much-needed reliable option at the back end of the Cubs' bullpen. In 2017, the relief pitcher posted a 2.06 ERA and a.916 WHIP.
Morrow, 33, served as the Dodgers' primary setup man in 2017 as they reached the World Series. Against Chicago, Morrow was stellar. The right-hander struck out seven and allowed just one hit in 4 2/3 innings. In the regular season, he had 35 appearances with a 2.06 ERA and a ideal 6-0 record with 50 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings. He had a 2.06 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 45 appearances. Though Morrow has a relatively high career ERA (4.05), he has been fantastic the last three years.

She had even more fans than Scarlett previous year , as bookies said she's been the most popular campmate ever. "Genuinely shocked that @iainlee has just come third place, wanted him to beat jamie so bad", said another.
The Cubs will certainly need the help as their bullpen struggled in the postseason this year. Bruce Levine of WSCR-AM previously reported that the Cubs were "moving quickly" on Morrow, and it appears the two sides are nearing a deal.
With the Yankees, Angels and Mariners making waves early this offseason, the Cubs and other World Series hopefuls are now scrambling to answer.
