Barack Obama's got some "dad moves" and he's not afraid to admit it. When the Grammy victor invited his daughter to the floor to dance, Obama says he was "surprised" that Sasha pulled him up with her. Instead it features a particularly famous dad discussing his daughter Sasha and how he tried not to embarrass her when dancing alongside Prince.

Obama then talks about the key to dancing as a parent, which he calls "staying in the pocket". "You know, they start doing like karate kicks and all kinds of stuff", he says, before asking whether Letterman, who has a son, karate kicks as a dance move.

David Letterman, who said goodbye to his long-running talk show almost three years ago, is saying hello to TV again with a new show for Netflix. Other guests who are on schedule to appear include George Clooney, Howard Stern, Tina Fey, Malala Yousafzai and Jay-Z, Netflix said.

"You never know when you might learn something, and that's what this is about for me".

The monthly talk show will see Letterman interview an impressive lineup of influential guests. The show will premiere on Netflix on Friday.

In 33 years on late-night television, Letterman hosted 6,028 episodes of NBC's "Late Night" and CBS' "Late Show", and is the longest-running late-night broadcaster in American history.
