The popular electronics retailer announced it will relaunch online on February 15, with the company eventually planning on operating out of kiosks before opening showrooms.

The company plans on opening kiosks, stores within stores, plus its own showrooms in the not-so-distant future.

The site will include features such as videos, virtual vignettes, search-by-photo, augmented reality and real-time tech support through video chat.

Circuit City has partnered with SkinnyIT to provide home installations and with Taylored Group to design 8,000-10,000 square feet showrooms, reported.

To be sure, as it re-emerges Circuit City will face heightened competition in the electronics category from the likes of, and.
