After a conviction for criminal contempt, Arpaio was pardoned by the President.

The former lawman, who was known for jailing inmates in outdoor tents during Arizona's triple-digit summer heat and forcing them to wear pink underwear, said supporters urged him to seek public office again despite his crushing 2016 re-election defeat to a little-known Phoenix police sergeant.

"Joe Arpaio is one of our nation's most notorious agents of racism and bigotry".

"And we have the evidence", the sheriff said. "When we come across these kids, or some are older than just kids, then deport them".

"No doubt about it, we have the evidence, I'm not going to go into all the details, yeah, it's a phony document", Arpaio said on "Cuomo Primetime". She is also seen as a strong GOP contender for the Senate seat in a possible run against Democratic U.S. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, who represents Arizona's 9th District and has also positioned herself as a moderate candidate. "I don't care if I lose elections or anything", he said during a sitdown with WABC Radio's Rita Cosby and Curtis Sliwa.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio attends a rally by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, October 4, 2016, in Prescott Valley, Arizona; Arpaio has said he believes former president Obama's birth certificate is a fake. He was one of the loudest voices in the birther movement, which suggests that the country's first black president was not born in the US, and sent a deputy to Hawaii in 2012 to investigate.

Southampton should do all they can to sign Arsenal's Theo Walcott
But according to the Daily Mail , boss Arsene Wenger is bracing himself for a £20m offer for the winger. A move to Southampton will allow his family to remain in the south of England, where they now reside.

Trump has also questioned the authenticity of Obama birth certificate for years.

They include a focus on immigration enforcement, a knack for getting away with things that would sink the careers of other politicians and a talent for garnering news coverage, Arpaio said.

A high-resolution version of Obama's birth certificate can be downloaded from the White House website.

Roy Moore ran as deeply conservative establishment outsider, but as sexual allegations mounted against the embattled candidate, many conservative Alabama voters stayed home, and gave Attorney General Jeff Sessions' former senate seat to a Democrat for the first time in a generation. "I want power out of Washington, D.C. and the federal government slashed down to minimal size", he continued.

During the next 23 years, Arpaio built his reputation as the "World's Toughest Sheriff" by treating his prisoners as prisoners instead of guests. But the teeth of SB 1070 consisted of requiring that state law-enforcement officers attempt to determine an individual's immigration status during a "lawful stop, detention or arrest" when there is reasonable suspicion that the individual is an illegal immigrant. "I'm not saying he's going to win". I know I'll be attacked by the far left, the establishment right and of course, the liberal media.

On January 9, Mr Arpaio announced that he would run, "for the good of our country".
