Dark Souls PS4 Remaster

Dark Souls will make its Nintendo debut this year

Dark Souls: Remastered will finally give fans a more polished look at the first game in the trilogy, and invite Nintendo fans into the fold for the first time. This is in addition to the Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered revealed during the surprise Direct event. And in case of PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, the game will be upscaled to 4K resolution and 60 FPS. Remaster does not just end up with graphics enhancements, but the game delivers online support for up to 6 players (initially up to 4) and officially dedicated servers, making Bandai Namco opening the door to bigger online support.

Dark Souls, is referred to as a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, first launched in 2011. It will feature 1080p and 30 FPS when docked on the Nintendo Switch. Gamers on other consoles will be pleased to learn it's also coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

How much do you really love Dark Souls? There's the soundtracks for each of the games, a bookend set for you to store everything, 10 art prints with frames and three large physical dictionaries with item descriptions for everything across the series. As a single player game, Dark Souls presents a tight and polished experience with the player constantly chasing that new piece of loot, or that next soul level, or the next boss battle.

Dark Souls Remastered, featuring all DLC, and a snazzy visual upgrade, will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on May 24.
