The accusations are the latest in a flood that has roiled the worlds of entertainment, politics and the media since November after dozens of women alleged that Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein harassed and in some cases assaulted them.
The Los Angeles Times published a report on January 11 in which five women went on record accusing Franco of sexually inappropriate and exploitative behaviour. In 2014, he used Instagram to ask a 17-year-old girl he'd met outside a NY theater if she had a boyfriend and whether she was 18.
Paley said the two also had a "consensual relationship" and that recently Franco has offered her and others "an overdue, annoyed, convenient phone 'apology, ' " which she says she does not accept. Both said Franco became angry when no women, while at the shoot, would agree to be topless.

"I got it in my head pretty quickly that, OK, you don't say "no" to this guy", Tither-Kaplan told the L.A. Times. "I was talking to him, all of a sudden his penis was out", she says of their experience in her vehicle.
Violet Paley also alledges that Franco forced her to perform a sex act on him when she was clearly uncomfortable. Franco's future on the show likely hinges on whether more victims come forward with allegations of work-related misconduct.
"The things I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate but I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice because they didn't have a voice for so long", Franco told Colbert.
Gadot added: "In the past weeks and months we've been witnessing a movement in our industry and society and I want to share this award with all women and men who stand for what's right". I had nothing but a great time with her and have total respect for her. "David Harbour won best supporting actor in a drama series for 'Stranger Things".
