Paige's In-Ring Career Reportedly Done

Report: Paige's WWE in-ring career is over

WWE News: Paige will never wrestle again after serious injury – reports

The Anti-Diva's WWE career began in 2011 when she signed a developmental contract with Florida Championship Wrestling which later became NXT.

It is now unlikely that she will be cleared by the WWE to return to in-ring competition, according to a report from PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

Paige had even been announced for the upcoming WWE Women's Royal Rumble before her accident during a house show on December 27th, after taking a move from Sasha Banks.

It was believed that Paige suffered a stinger during the match as it caused her to lose feeling in her extremities. She had only just returned to WWE and in-ring action with a new faction, Absolution, just last month.

Paige debuted with WWE in April of 2014, winning the WWE Divas Championship in her first match.

It's being said the company wants to keep her in a non-wrestling role much like Daniel Bryan now is the GM of Smackdown Live. The strategy behind putting the group together may have been to devise a way to limit Paige's ring time due to her previous neck issues, while also getting her back on TV in a prominent role.

Even though Paige is still 25 years old, she has been wrestling for a very long time.

However, the show, entitled The Continental , does take place in the same universe as the John Wick movies. I think the world is very vast, and everything I've heard from it is very positive.

By the latter part of the year, however, Paige was cleared medically and was finally back in the ring, spending time at the WWE Performance Center in order to prepare for a television return. She and El Patron were also involved in a high-profile incident at airport that led police to consider domestic violence charges against both wrestlers.

After copping a blow to her back, Paige collapsed to the mat and was stretchered from the ring after being examined by medical personnel.

Paige won that title on two occasions, and was also the first NXT Women's champion.

Born to a pair of British pro wrestlers, Paige has been involved in the professional wrestling business nearly all her life.

WWE have yet to release an official statement.
