The war of words between the Congress and BJP's "star campaigner" Yogi Adityanath, sparked by the recent exchange of hostilities with Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah during Yogi's visit to the state, escalated in the form an "attack" video on social media that poked fun at the Hindu hardliner. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath were recently involved in a spat, and the arguments put were mostly about Hindutva, cows and crime. "You can seek clarification from him, he won't speak anything of this kind if he has no intelligence input," Congress spokesperson Tom Vadakkan told reporters here, when asked to comment on Siddaramaiah's remarks.
Addressing the Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivartana Yatre in Chitradurga, Shah said, "The Siddaramaiah Government is indulging in vote bank politics; it is an anti-Hindu government".
