In SYFY WIRE's exclusive chat with Igle below, he explains why the Black Panther movie could potentially be a seismic shift in the way superhero flicks are perceived in literature, comics, and future films.
One of those creators is Jamal Igle, the dynamic comic book artist whose work appears in titles like Molly Danger, Supergirl, and Black. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war. The film is set for release on February 12th in the United Kingdom and on February 16th in the States.

Black Panther the movie, directed by Ryan Coogler, will be the first Marvel movie with a predominately black cast. Obviously, Nyong'o is going to get tickets some other way. You might want to circle a date, and soon, because this one will be playing to packed houses for at least its opening weekend.
