Gandhi is scheduled to launch the first leg of his party's poll campaign in Karnataka on February 10. It will not be a contest between me and (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi.
The travel plan was decided at a strategy meeting chaired by Rahul on Saturday which was attended by all senior Congress leaders from Karnataka, including chief minister Siddaramaiah. "That is Hindutva", Mr Siddaramaiah told reporters after a meeting with Congress president here to discuss the party's preparations for the Karnataka assembly polls, which are likely to be held in April-May.
The Congress will not shy away from talking about "Hinduism" or "Hindutva" during its campaign in the run-up to Assembly elections in Karnataka.
"Rahul Gandhi was very happy to know that there is no anti-incumbency against our government, and all programmes that were mentioned in our manifesto have been completed. We will win the upcoming polls with a comfortable majority", he added.
Challenging Siddaramaiah, Karandlaje said, "I am BJP, I am RSS. That will not work".
Eagle sees Harman take three-shot lead

Besides Parameshwara, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, state Congress' working presidents S R Patil and Dinesh Gundu Rao, the party's Karnataka in-charge KC Venugopal were also present at the meeting, besides senior Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, K Rahman Khan, K H Muniyappa, Oscar Fernandes and Veerappa Moily.
"I am also a Hindu, but I'm a Hindu with humanity, they are Hindus without humanity".
"They (BJP) are following (Hindutva) sans humanity".
"The BJP is trying to polarise the people because they have no other slogan or programme". It also submitted a complaint to the police seeking action against the CM for using "inflammatory" and "derogatory" remarks branding members of the party and RSS as "terrorists".
