Overwatch's new highlight intros show some serious action

Overwatch Cosmetics Update Countdown - News - Overwatch

New Overwatch Map Blizzard World Launch Date Revealed

The official Overwatch website encourages fans to anticipate more reveals in the next few days until the new update launches on January 23, 2018. The skin, called "Asp Pharah", features a serpent on her winged helmet, and her armor in this version is gold and silver with aquamarine highlights. But before she can wreak havoc, the video cuts out and is replaced by the Overwatch logo, leaving us guessing on what the actual effect of Pharah striking the ground will be.

You will be able to get your hands on the new items by opening standard Loot Boxes, as well as unlocking them via the Hero Gallery.

On top of the new map, all 26 of Overwatch's heroes will receive new Epic and Legendary skins, as well as other cosmetic items in tomorrow's update. They aren't tied to any specific event, like the other new content, so they'll stay around forever.

One of the new Legendary skins that were previewed in the past few days was for Pharah. This will appeal to all factions of the community and definitely help keep the player base interested in Overwatch through the course of the year.
