Young Ghanaian Artiste, Ebony Reigns Dies In Fatal Car Crash Few Days To 21st Birthday

The Popular Ghanaian singer, Ebony Reigns who was with two other military officers in a jeep heading to Kumasi from Sunyani, died in a auto crash after the vehicle collided with a VIP bus around 11pm on Thursday.

Ebony has won many awards including the Artiste of the Year at the 2017 Bass Awards and Best Female Video and New Discovery at the 2017 4syte Music Video Awards.

The unfortunate accident occurred late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road. "My deepest condolences to her family, and to the families of the two others who died in the tragic accident".

The 20-year-old artist's death was confirmed by the Divisional Commander of Mankranso, DSP John Adusei who told local radio Citi FM that her "Jeep collided with the bus at the intersection of the road between the Nsuta and Bechem junction".

The driver of the VIP bus reportedly survived the accident but he is now unconscious at the same hospital receiving treatment from doctors.

Ebony was discovered by Bullet of Ruff n Smooth fame, and released her first siingle Dancefloor in 2015.

The death of the songstress came as a shock to her friends and family.

"Within the last two years that she had been in active music, you can say that she was the quickest rising star", Obour said, adding Ebony was in the race to winning the 2017 Artiste of the Year. I witnessed & prayed with her with a joyous heart only to hear this.
