Shoppers can just start adding to their online baskets via the Whole Foods section of Prime Now. But a recent said some Whole Foods employees are complaining about a new inventory management system created to cut down on food waste. "Both the established Amazon Prime and Whole Foods Market teams remain unchanged". Since then, Amazon has slashed prices on some items and showcased its products, such as the Echo, in Whole Foods locations. Amazon and Whole Foods will have to find a way to make consumers trust the people picking their groceries, and they'll have to be transparent about their process for that to happen.
Customers must be members of Amazon's $99 yearly subscription Prime service to get the speedy deliveries. Or, like, in two hours.
