Larry Nassar has been moved. The university's governing board last Wednesday hired former Michigan Gov. John Engler as its interim president and another former governor, Jim Blanchard, as an adviser. He stepped down from that post in December citing medical issues but remains a member of the faculty.

Letters requesting information also were sent to the U.S. Olympic Committee, USA Gymnastics Inc., Twistars USA Gymnastics Club and the Karolyi Ranch.

After being handed a 40 - 175 sentence in both Eaton and Ingham County for committing sexual assault as a former doctor at MSU and USA Gymnastics, he has been moved to his long term cell.

On February 5th, Judge Janice Cunningham of Eaton County Circuit Court in MI sentenced Larry Nassar to 40 to 125 years in prison on three charges of criminal sexual misconduct.

Nassar's release date from federal prison is March 23, 2069.

During Nassar's sentencing hearings, athletes claimed Geddert was physically abusive, was indifferent to injuries and forced them to see Nassar.

Here is what Raisman had to say about the matter in an interview with CNN.

The United States Olympic Committee has said it will appoint an independent investigator to probe the organisation and USA Gymnastics to determine who knew what and when in the Nassar case.

"Neither USA Gymnastics nor the USOC have reached out to express sympathy or even offer support", Raisman noted (Time, 1.19.2018). Trey Gowdy, R-SC, and Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said in a statement, calling it "one of the most disturbing aspects" of accounts about Nassar's crimes.

Raisman, 23, told CNN on Thursday that Geddert - who is facing a criminal investigation in MI for physical abuse following Nassar's sentencing - could have put an end to the horrors inflicted on more than 250 Nassar accusers.

The former dean laid out guidelines for Nassar to follow when treating patients in sensitive areas after a 2014 Title IX investigation into complaints about his abuse, but he did not enforce them.
