MWC 2018: LG is Expected to Launch V30s with LG Lens and More

Instead of releasing a constant stream of new phones, Cho said that the company plans to " retain existing models longer by, for instance, unveiling more variant models of the G series or V series". The company has even denied on launching the new LG G7 smartphone in nearby future. Early reports suggested that this phone would be called V30+α or the V30 Alpha, but ETNews, a Korean news source, points to the phone being called the LG V30S. Many new colors have been introduced, but now it's time for a new variant of LG V30 with special features at the Mobile World Congress 2018 trade show.

Being the new generation premium smartphone, the LG V30s smartphone carries a bunch of highly advanced technical features. It is expected that the new phone will be officially announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Eventually, we can expect the LG V30s to feature a 6-inch FullVision OLED display with QHD+ resolution and make use of a Snapdragon 835 SoC, dual 16MP rear cameras and a 5MP selfie camera.

The LG V30s doesn't sound like a huge upgrade, but features like LG Lens and 256GB of built-in storage could be nice for folks that are fans of LG or were already thinking about picking up the V30.

So, will this phone be worth the cost?

Snow falling in Chicago area; roads treacherous, flights cancelled
Rates of about a half-inch per hour are expected through Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service . The snow that began falling late Thursday afternoon is expected to continue through Friday as the storm moves east.

Last year LG has launched a high-end flagship device V30.

In short, it's much akin to the Bixby Camera feature that Samsung launched on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 a year ago.

If the V30S debuts at MWC 2018, it'll be vying for attention alongside the Samsung Galaxy S9, but it could struggle against that phone if it launches for the rumored $918. Although the company hasn't officially revealed the name, but LG V30+? does seem a like a good candidate. We would get to hear some more official information regarding this phone in the coming days.
