The teaser of his first Hollywood venture, The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir, seems to touch upon this very sense of adventure. Release date of The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir is set to be on 30 May 2018 worldwide while trailer will be released very soon.

Based on a bestseller book The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe, the film is an English-French comedy-drama also features actress Berenice Bejo, Barkhad Abdi, and Erin Moriarty.

Talking about his first Hollywood project, Dhanush told IANS, "It's God's grace that I landed this offer. It's such a positive film and it's all about spreading positivity". He is an innocent kid who knows only about his neighbours and lands up in Paris when he grows up. In the teaser, executive Kenn Scott is seen sharing his experience dealing with the task.
