Aguero scored his second five minutes later from, you guessed it, a De Bruyne pass.

Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez has ended his self-imposed exile by returning to training and says "presumptions" about his absence are "totally without foundation".

His second goal was a reward for his own hard work, closing down Kasper Schmeichel and forcing the keeper into a mistake before Kevin De Bruyne threaded a ideal pass in behind for Aguero to latch onto.

Leaders Manchester City host Leicester, who will again be without Mahrez after he failed to force through a move to the Premier League leaders, while Manchester United travel to Newcastle and Southampton welcome back Virgil van Dijk in a Liverpool shirt.

The footballer of the year battle continues to hot up as Aguero runs riot. The Argentine's abilities have never been recognised with individual awards which is quite astonishing given his incredible consistency in the top-flight over the years.
