The English football hierarchy should listen to what Pep Guardiola has to say about abolishing poor tackles in order to take the game forward, says the Daily Telegraph's Jeremy Wilson.
Mahrez returned to training on Friday having spent nine days away from the Foxes without permission following Leicester's refusal of City's reported offer of £50 million plus a player. While Sterling, Aguero and Bernardo Silva all made darting runs between the defenders, the attacking impetus of Guardiola's side had certainly decreased, but Leicester's was nearly non-existent.
The 26-year-old was said to be quite upset over Leicester's Thai owners rejection of City's proposal of a record KSh 9.4 billion fee, and an unnamed player.
But Manchester City resumed control with two goals in the space of five minutes at the start of the second half. However, many are now looking at Riyad Mahrez as mistreating the club who gave him a chance, whilst others look at the situation as being a case of vice versa.
Disney World and Disneyland Are Raising Prices Once Again
A regular, one-day ticket to Disney World's Magic Kingdom now costs $119, a $4 increase, the Associated Press reported Sunday . And the Silver pass with block out dates during Christmas, spring break, and the summer costs $439, up from $419.
Mahrez's global coach Rabah Madjer said the player "deserves better than Leicester", but former England striker Chris Sutton was critical of the player's reaction to his move collapsing.
Guardiola hopes that Puel can find a way to include Mahrez in his squad, though, arguing that it will be a better game if he plays. Sometimes a break is good, and you come back strong.
"He's a valuable player for this team like (Jamie) Vardy".
His first came from some neat play down the left, which led to a precision cross into the six-yard box from where Aguero made no mistake. We can not forget it was not a century ago but two seasons ago when they were champions.
"He's a great player and every team in the world would love to have him".
