Sen. Chuck Schumer of NY, the top Senate Democrat, said bluntly, "Millions of Americans are asking one simple question: What is he hiding?"
"With regard to the House Intelligence Committee's memorandum, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it", read a statement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
In another tweet, Trump quoted a report by The New York Times, a newspaper who otherwise disparages as "fake news", that United States spies ended up paying $100,000 to a "shadowy Russian" who promised, among other things, to deliver "compromising material" on Trump.
The president stressed that the memo put together by the Democrats was clearly a political trap and revealed that he has instructed the left to give it another shot. The FBI didn't suggest that there was anything in the GOP memo that was inaccurate. We're joined now by NPR justice correspondent Carrie Johnson.
"The President immediately-and without scrutiny-approves the release of a memo that he claims "vindicates" him", said Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, where the memo battles have been fought.
Molly Shannon Praises 'Kind' Sarah Jessica Parker After Kim Cattrall Comments
Cattrall let it be known, clearly and unequivocally, that Parker's words of sympathy were not welcome nor appreciated. Parker past year announced there would be no third film in the franchise. "When I learned he passed I reached out".
Republicans contend that senior law enforcement officials were - and still are - biased against Trump, something the president also says frequently. This seems to be part of that same pattern.
The House of Representatives Intelligence Committee voted unanimously on Monday to release the 10-page document drafted by the panel's Democrats, contingent on the Republican president agreeing to reclassify it. It was misleading. It omitted material facts. What changed??? The FBI and Justice Department are the same organizations with the exact same leadership team this week as they had last week.
"We will be releasing the memo", he said.

A letter from the White House written by Donald McGahn stated the Democratic memo "contains numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages". No, I think this is the way that the White House punts back to the committee. They know that the chairman, you know, views his mission as protecting the president. They also noted that there was other evidence presented to the court besides Steele's information, though they have not provided details. Moreover, critics say, he has repeatedly abused his powers to try to kill the probe, including by firing FBI Director James Comey and by heaping pressure on the FBI and Justice Department. We'll see if we can work our way through this. "As stated many times", Sanders said, "the administration will follow the same process and procedure with this memorandum from the minority as it did last week, when it received the memorandum from the majority". "If he released it, he actually jeopardizes sources, methods and potentially lives of Americans and others who help in our intelligence community". Or is your argument that even though the Republican memo hurt national security, the Democrats' response would not? But no, we've always wanted to handle classified information - the committee - responsibly.
Spokesmen for the Justice Department did not respond Friday night to questions about the concerns that Rosenstein and Wray had reportedly expressed.
