Drake treats hotel housekeeper to $10000 shopping spree

After reading a story in the Miami Herald about hotel housekeepers who are forced to spend hours commuting to work because they've been being pushed out of the city due to the skyrocketing cost of rent, Drake chose to act.

Paret, a Haitian mother of five, wakes up every day at 4:30 a.m.to take a long commute, highlighting the current transportation issues within Miami. "So I said, 'Drake!'" Paret recalled to the Miami Herald about coming face-to-face with the generous star.

This week, Paret was gifted a massage at the hotel's spa, followed by dinner at an expensive steakhouse.

She had no idea who was footing the bill until a auto whisked her to Saks Fifth Avenue, where Drake and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown surprised her, per People.

Salute to both AB and Drake for treating Paret to a much-needed (and deserved) night of pampering.

The member states' defense ministers will meet in June to decide on timelines and locations of the new commands, he added. Jens Stoltenberg's comments came during a news conference after a NATO Ministers of Defense meeting in Brussels.

Paret was given 45 minutes to buy whatever she wanted in Saks - and opted for a pair of $800 comfortable shoes, a $2,000 Valentino handbag and four bottles of perfume.

The special trip took place during Drake's week of giving in Miami at the start of February, when he made a $25,000 donation to Miami Senior High School and gave students clothes from his OVO brand, before going on to surprise student Destiny Paris James by giving her a $50,000 cheque towards her University of Miami tuition.

The rapper wrote on Instagram on Thursday: 'Last 3 days were the best I have had in a very long time'.

The outlet adds that Paret's shopping spree experience will be part of a music video Drake is shooting.

Later that day, the three-time Grammy victor donated $50,000 to the Lotus House Shelter where he passed out $150 Target gift cards to the homeless women as well as toys and games for the children.
