When fans, athletes, and media on the ground at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics start talking about what the historic legacy of these games might be, there's one hope that gets passed around - maybe the 2018 Winter Games will go down in history as the "Peace Games".

The Japanese placed sixth at the inaugural women's tournament in 1998 and then seventh in a return trip at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Or maybe they don't, and become one more just missed opportunity in red, white, and blue sea of them. For a while, at least in sport, it has. Clark, from Saskatoon, is the youngest player on the team and the lone player from Saskatchewan. They've united as one: the unified women's hockey team.

Murray said she has yet to have enough time to fully reflect on the past several weeks, starting with the formation of the joint team and playing together in the Olympics for the first time.

"We accepted that the decision can not be reversed, so we chose to focus on training without being wielded by something that is out of our control", she said. Three North Koreans must be on the ice at all times.

If anyone is going to break the goose-egg against the overwhelmingly favored Canadians, it could very well be forward Brock Radunske; the 34-year-old Kitchener, Ontario native was a third-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 2002, and leads South Korea with eight shots on goal through two games.

The group a match held in Gangneung, ended with the score 4:0 (1:0, 1:0, 2:0). That is the reason they garnered support from every major professional players' union, men or women; why Billie Jean King was texting them encouragement; why high school players contacted by USA Hockey to serve as scabs offered a resounding "no"; why the Women's Sports Foundation honored them as Wilma Rudolph courage award winners; and why these women, like the soccer trailblazers before them, should and always will be remembered.

Instant reaction to Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry being franchise tagged
Hopefully it'll work into something, but honestly, I'm here to enjoy the Pro Bowl and let the rest take care of itself". Landry, 25, had been negotiating a multiyear contract extension with the Dolphins but those talks had not progressed.

South Korea came into the Olympics ranked 22nd in the world, three spots above North Korea.

The female athletes from Russian Federation faced off the Canadians for the fourth time at the Olympic Games and suffered their fourth defeat.

"I think the women are coming closer", Fasel said. "And I also felt nervous that other teammates would feel nervous". Jin didn't get in the game, but North Korean forward Kim Un Hyang has played each game.

"We have to use our speed and our tenaciousness and try to put in more pucks than them", he said.

As the Koreans were clearly overpowered by their opponents, critics wondered if the South Koreans might have been more competitive without their North Korean counterparts.

Then there are the political worries of what such cooperation with the North means. "He's doing a little better (today)", James said. He expressed a sentiment common in South Korea - that the North Korean power-holders will never give up their attempts to overcome South Korea. "We want to continue to teach because they want to keep learning".
