We have nothing to fear against Zenit St Petersburg in Europa League tie, insists Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer

The same description could apply to Celtic's defence as the Scottish champions prepare to jet out for Thursday night's crunch Europa League second leg against Zenit St Petersburg. The only problem is we didn't play for two months.

"Everyone wants to qualify, everyone wants to go through".

"Part of the fan sector in stand D will be closed to supporters after a banner was displayed in the home game with Vardar which contradicted UEFA's Equal Game rules".

"Thankfully, when we've been in that situation we've dealt very, very well with it. The pitch looks really good and that will
suit us". But we'll really embrace it knowing this is a game we are always going to be in. I didn't think I'd develop quite as much as I have done this year but it's a great feeling and I feel stronger with each game I play.

"We played a flawless game, really, in terms of how the players defended and attacked".

"Of course, we would have liked to have had one or two more goals, but the concentration and our quality in our game was at a very high level".

He warned that Roberto Mancini's side couldn't be underestimated but said he was confident that Celtic could take a place in the last 16 draw on Friday.

"I think the way we played over the last two seasons we've been developing, playing different formations, different styles against top quality teams", he said. "But of course there will always be an expectancy on the other team due to their standing and probably the quality that they have".

"But there are still areas where we can be better". We put a top quality team under pressure and, if we can do that against them, then we can do it in the SPFL. Zenit can get an early goal and then we are back at 1-1.

"We need to do it against Zenit, but it was a good performance in the first leg, with the ball and the way we pressed".

Zenit have been eliminated from each of their last six European knockout ties in which they've lost the first leg. Everyone would have probably expected Zenit to go through.

There are also multiple new bank charges that the Modi government has levied from time to time, he added. This is the third straight year that the provident fund organisation has cut the interest rate .

It also includes a bit of insight into what we expect from each player, and what they can do to make the difference. "If we can play at the level we played in the first game, we can be a match for any team".

"But at the same time we are a good team".

"I am a big admirer of Branislav Ivanovic".

"He's been absolutely brilliant for me".

"I am confident that we can improve tomorrow".

"Leandro Perades, in the centre of midfield, the former Roma player, is an outstanding talent".

'We limited them to few chances.

However, Ajer believes his side deserve all the credit going for keeping at bay a team who were the subject of an £80million summer rebuild bankrolled by wealthy owners Gazprom.

"It makes for a really good game". "I'm looking forward to the experience in what I believe is a fantastic stadium". That was an emotional one, getting us in to the Champions League.

Asked by a Russian reporter if that made him happy - or super-happy - Rodgers laughed and replied: "Super happy".
