Noted draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN doesn't have the best track record when hypothesizing the Titans' draft choices.
If that happens, the next logical pick for the Packers - if pass rusher is the way they go - would be Harold Landry from Boston College.
Perhaps the most prominent National Football League draft pundit, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr., came out with the second edition of his mock draft this week. And he projects the Jets to pass on him. In terms of Los Angeles Chargers news, Kiper did not change his stance on who LA should draft with the 19th overall pick. Many have said Baker Mayfield is the quarterback the Dolphins have been targeting, but he wasn't there at No. 9 in this mock draft (Mayfield was taken by the Bills).
As for other quarterbacks going in Round 1. well, Kiper doesn't have any besides the big four. Ward over his last two years: 32 percent.
Kiper has the Chargers drafting Alabama defensive tackle Da'Ron Payne, the same selection that he gave the Chargers in his first Mock Draft in January. After sending Darnold to the Browns at No. 1 and Rosen to the Giants at No. 2, he sees the Jets trading into the No. 3 spot and selecting Mayfield.
Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout.com, who released his latest mock draft last week, also has the Dolphins taking James. Jackson would probably be in the mix to contribute as a starter on special teams and as the team's second cornerback.

Chevalier subsequently complained, and was encouraged to consider leaving and told that "working at Google was not for everyone". The overwhelming majority of our employees communicate in a way that is consistent with our policies.
Last year, Kiper had the Titans choosing S Jamal Adams with their fifth overall pick. For mock 2.0., Kiper has the Lions selecting LSU running back Derrius Guice.
The pick makes some sense when you figure the Ravens could be trying to shed Austin Howard's contract.
Between Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch, the club's most glaring need remains at quarterback and by all accounts, they may very well be the favorites to land Kirk Cousins in free agency.
In the ESPN analyst's latest draft projection, Mayfield is headed to the New York Jets with the No. 6 overall pick.
The Raiders are not certain if they'll be getting middle linebacker NaVorro Bowman back in 2018, and it should be noted that the 49ers chose to move on from the veteran linebacker in favor of a young, talented LB in Reuben Foster. "Fitzpatrick's versatility will allow him to line up anywhere in the secondary, and the Browns have needs at both corner and safety that he could immediately upgrade".
