Don't expect to see Cameron Diaz on the silver screen anymore. She was the carefree blonde protagonist of the decade, starting her career with The Mask and solidifying it My Best Friend's Wedding and There's Something About Mary.
But if you were all on board for a sequel to the film that made Cameron Diaz a star, well you can forget about it because apparently she's done with acting. When asked if she'd consider a The Sweetest Thing sequel, she said "I would have liked to do a sequel, but Cameron's retired from acting, She's like, 'I'm done'".
She might only be 45 but Cameron Diaz has reportedly hung up her acting shoes because she is "done" with the industry. "She's like 'I'm done.'" said Blair.
"I mean, she doesn't need to make any more films, she has a pretty great life", Blair said of Diaz's current situation.
Barry Soper: Donald Trump's trade war will make America grate again
The tariffs rollout has been rife with confusion and dissension in the White House. President Trump doesn't believe they should pay no price if they refuse.
An insider cited by The Daily Star who spoke to Blair atVanity Fair's Oscars pre-party in Los Angeles quoted Blair as saying, "I don't know what it would take to bring [Diaz] back".
Diaz and Madden met in 2014 after being introduced by Nicole Richie and married seven months later in an intimate ceremony at the actress's Beverly Hills home. She recalled how the constant travel and life on film sets affected her. Hollywood also never quite looked at her the same way either. "I felt the need to make myself whole".
So while Diaz hasn't confirmed her retirement, it certainly sounds like she's done. We are so different from one another, but we share the same values-we're totally two peas in a pod. That same year, she also starred in the comedy "Sex Tape" with Jason Segel and the rom-com "The Other Woman". "We are both just weird enough for each other".
