McGraw's wife, singer Faith Hill, later came out to tell the audience he could not continue with the performance. A member of the audience managed to record the moment when his wife returns to the stage to announce that her husband would not come back out on stage.

A spokesman for Tim confirmed to Cox Media Group's National Content Desk that he was suffering from dehydration. "He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine", the rep said.

The 50-year-old is said to have fell to his knees before "collapsing" while performing his country music hit, Humble and Kind.

McGraw and Hill were part of a large group of Nashville stars in Europe this weekend for the C2C: Country to Country music festival, which tours London, Glasgow and Dublin. "He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon".
