Mobile phone footage, obtained by The Mirror, shows Carragher winding down his vehicle window and spitting in the direction of the auto after the driver, who was filming the incident on his mobile phone, repeatedly mentions the score of the game at Old Trafford.
But in a moment of madness, the scene turned ugly and Carragher inexplicably spat towards the auto in which the girl was being driven with saliva hitting her in the face, causing her to cry.
In a tweet on Sunday night, Carragher wrote: "Totally out of order & Ive apologised personally to all the family this evening". I was goaded 3/4 times along the motorway while being filmed & lost my rag.
Carragher has now issued a full apology on Twitter (above) and Sky have offered their response to the incident, suggesting they will hold talks with one of their star employees.
Manchin, Capito voice approval of Trump tariffs
Several Republicans, including Flake, have openly called the President's views on trade misinformed and misguided . The president earned a rare show of support for his tariffs from one of the most liberal members of Congress, Sen.
He will appear on Monday Night Football to cover Manchester City's game with Stoke but it is understood Sky's hierarchy will speak to him once the show has finished.
The 40-year-old said: "It was a bit more than, "Hiya Jamie, it was 2-1".
She said: "I was extremely angry and disappointed that he could even bring himself to do something like that". I thought, "Why has he done that". "I thought I had done something wrong", she said. "Someone like him who is older should be able to take a joke". I did not say anything. Looking at her, you know she is a child. She did not do anything wrong.
Carragher has since moved to condemn his actions. Spitting at someone is the lowest of the low.
