Authorities are reportedly on the lookout for Juelz Santana after the rapper fled from Newark Liberty Airport on Friday after a gun was found on him while going through an airport screening.
Santana, a former Teaneck resident, submitted a carry-on bag for an X-ray inspection at the C-1 security checkpoint, which leads to airport gates in Terminal C, at 6:05 p.m. Friday. Police from Totowa, New Jersey said they were told the rapper will be turning himself in Sunday morning. The incident has resulted in a search as Port Authority is now actively looking for Juelz Santana. Most incidents don't end in arrests, but they have happened in the past.

Santana, a founding member of the rap group "The Diplomats", has been living since a year ago on Totowa's Hamilton Trail, a street lined with stately, three-story homes, according to neighbors. In 2011, he was arrested at his New Jersey recording studio, where police discovered two loaded guns, ammunition, and drugs, according to The Record. He was charged with four counts of narcotics and weapons offenses.
