Russian Federation and Ethiopia are drafting intergovernmental agreements in the area of military technical cooperation and education, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following the meeting with his Ethiopian counterpart Workneh Gebeyehu on Friday.

Ethiopia over the past week hosted three top diplomats to Addis Ababa.

As their two countries trade accusations over Syria, Ukraine and even the Oscars, their governments are trolling each other on social media, even trading barbs over who's to blame for the lack of a sit-down in Addis Ababa. Not so, the United States insisted. But the next day the US Department of State said they didn't receive any offer.

"Russia consistently assumed that there is a need to reform the Security Council", Lavrov said in a joint press conference with Mahamat at the AU headquarters in the Ethiopian capital.

Florida Passes Law That Allows Some School Staff To Be Armed
Rick Scott is going to sign a bill creating the nation's first ever private school voucher program for bullied students. The Florida bill is a sign that progress may be possible in the unlikeliest of places.

He said the inclusion of an African representative would have additional value.

Lavrov held meetings with Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa and senior government officials and signed an agreement to establish a special economic zone for Russian firms to manufacture goods for export.

"There was no meeting", the source told reporters. The Russian Foreign Minister's visit comes amid loud calls by the new leadership in Zimbabwe inviting investors and foreign direct investment to resuscitate the national economy. The Great Dyke platinum investment project, which is one of the biggest investments in the country since 1980, is poised to be jumpstarted by the visit, with renewed commitment made on the deal.
