In 2018, three Hearthstone game developers went into the Irvine California backwoods surrounding Blizzard Entertainment to discover the truth about The Witchwood. The Witchhood serves up 135 new cards, featuring werewolves, ghosts, and other creepy creatures. They all had a good laugh about it later. Press and members of the community will begin revealing cards starting the same day! "Monster Hunt will release two weeks after The Witchwood launches".
Something spooky is stirring in the heart of The Witchwood, the next expansion for Blizzard's digital card game Hearthstone.
The video wraps up with a tease for a Hagatha card-a new hero card, quite possibly, but there appear to be at least a couple of Hagathas in the WoW mythos-Hagatha Moorehead, Matron Hagatha-and neither of them look like the character on the card.
US House Democrats sign letter urging action against Russian Federation
It will detail Russian cyberattacks on US institutions during the election and the use of social media to sow discord. The finding is sure to please the White House and enrage panel Democrats who have not yet seen the document.
The "Start of Game" mechanic, as the revealed cards indicate, will be activated based to the mana cost of the cards in your deck (whether they are all odd or even numbered) and if the terms are met a specific effect will be activated.
In The Witchwood's exhilarating single-player mode, Monster Hunt, Gilneas' greatest heroes are called to cleanse the forest of this darkness.
The expansion's new Monster Hunt mode is similar to the Dungeon Run from Kobolds & Catacombs in that it pits players against a series of eight increasingly hard encounters leading into a big boss fight. "Each time, it'll add a ghostly copy of the card back to your hand that disappears at the end of your turn". Rush, much like Charge, lets a minion attack immediately, but only against other minions. Worgen cards swap attack and health each turn they're in your hand, so you can hold onto them at different times for different results. As one of four new heroes you've got to make it through eight increasingly challenging battles that culminate in a boss fight. Players can pre-purchase a special Witchwood 50-pack card bundle, which comes with 20 bonus packs and the "In the Dark Wood" card, for free.
