Developed by Gad and Loren Bouchard, as well as Emmy victor Nora Smith, the series will focus on "a group of caretakers" who watch over Central Park and take care of it (obviously).
The star-studded project, titled Central Park, will bring Frozen stars Kristen Bell and Josh Gad together again, along with co-stars Leslie Odom Jr., Titus Burgess, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs and Kathryn Hahn, according to Deadline.
Bouchard and Gad executive produce alongside Brillstein Entertainment Partners, with Smith serving as consulting producer. This latest addition will be Apple's first animated show with an order from the creator of Bob's Burgers.
The Crown Paid the Queen Less Than the Prince
Olivia Coleman will be taking on the role when the show resumes after a time jump. For the next two seasons, all the roles will be recast with older actors.
Central Park will be joining a thriller series from M. Night Shyamalan, a series from La La Land's Dmaien Chazelle, Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories anthology series, a new space drama from Battlestar Galactica's Ron Moore, and a whole lot more.
Central Park was developed at 20th TV - home of such animated series as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob Burgers, King of the Hill and American Dad - where Bouchard is based.
Apple had added yet another show to its growing list of to be produced original content.
