'This Is Us': 7 Things to Know About the Season 2 Finale

As for Kevin, his future is looking brighter with a new girl on his arm and a trip to reconnect with his father. On their way, they both realize they should have been there more for Kate over the years. Toby tells them off and promises them that Kate is the one for him.

But all of that is yet to come. Within the latter half of this season alone, This Is Us gave us a heartbreaking miscarriage; an almost devastating auto accident that resulted in a DUI; a fire that nearly killed Jack Pearson, then didn't, but sort of did because he died of a heart attack afterward, all on Super Bowl Sunday; an eviction; and a wedding day that should have been focused on celebrating Toby and Kate but instead was dominated by the heavy grief and guilt Kate has been carrying for two decades with regard to her father's death. Deja has understandably been acting out after her mother abandoned her at the Pearson household. He's on a flight headed to Vietnam with an old photograph of Jack and his brother, Nicky, in Army fatigues during the Vietnam War (the same photo we saw in the episode, "Brothers"). Yeah, that's all gone. Why is Kevin going to Vietnam, and what illness does Toby have?

For the last time this season, we're going to single out the show's most powerful moments, scoring them by how many tissues we tore through just to watch them.

Huertas told POPSUGAR that Miguel and Rebecca's love story will definitely unfold during season three.

"You will know why I am in aged Jack makeup, "Milo Ventimiglia told ET's Leanne Aguilera on Monday at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas". Here's hoping a rejuvenated Pearson family can cut the guy some slack in Season 3.

West Bromwich Albion's woes continued as they slipped to a 4-1 home defeat by Leicester City. The Portuguese added: "I try to give the best to the kids, education".

In season two, okay went out the window.

While fans saw Deja's (played by Lyric Ross) backstory in the most recent episode, it's far from being over as more will come out about Randall (played by Sterling K. Brown, who has won history-making awards for his role) and Beth Pearson's (played by Susan Kelechi Watson) foster child. Zoe, for the short term, seems to make some sort of impression on Deja, as the teen actually gets dressed for the wedding (but then later goes missing at the end). The first steps were made tonight, but there is much work yet to be done to help Deja process her emotions. Hannah also revealed that Jack - who passed away earlier this season after inhaling too much smoke in a house fire - will have a presence in tonight's highly-anticipated finale.

Before she heads down the aisle, Kate and Rebecca have a moment. But rather than rail against her mother, she now sees her as inspiration, someone to hopefully become in her own way.

One flash forward showed Kate attending to her depressed husband Toby while he's in bed. It would make sense for it to be Deja that they were referencing, as her aforementioned violent turn could certainly serve as Exhibit A. Notably, the day before Kate and Toby's wedding day, Toby's parents sit him down and voice their concerns over his decision to marry Kate, who his mom calls "unstable". Kate freaks out when she worries that he should have been in them. "I've gotta make room for Toby", she told his urn before dumping his remaining ashes at a tree the two of them shared near the cabin. But things don't go according to plan when Kate realizes that Toby didn't pack the T-shirt.

Kevin could also suffer a relapse, especially considering the occasion. "In many ways, Jack might be the character we still have the most to learn about, because he's kept so many secrets in this period before we've really know him", he said.
