But, ladies and gentlemen, it seems as though we have ourselves a little Harry Potter plot hole. The trailer majorly revolves around a young Dumbledore with ample footage of Jude Law essaying the character. The trailer reveals we'll be returning to Hogwarts, and we already know that we're set to find out more about Albus Dumbledore and his battle with dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. We only see one quick shot of Grindelwald, but perhaps that is on objective, because of the increasing backlash against star Johnny Depp, who plays him in the movies.

The film is the second of five adventures - which has been penned by Rowling - follows on from the end of the first film, which was released back in 2016. It's very possible that this movie is going to do a lot worse at the box office than the first one, and based on this trailer alone, it's not hard to see why.

In the trailer, the makers have also made space for Dumbledore's Deluminator (which later goes to Ron in Harry Potter movies), Credence's Obscurus, Leta Lestrange (Newt's love interest), Queenie and Tina (witch sisters from the last film), Newt's constant companion Pickett, Newt's No-Maj friend Jacob Kowalski and a Thestral drawn carriage.

The teaser hints at the beginning of the Global Wizarding War surrounding Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) and Newt Scamander's (Eddie Redmayne) role in the rising conflict that eventually leads to the showdown between Grindelwald and Dumbledore. And of course, you can't have a "Fantastic Beasts" movie without the magical creatures. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.
