Reed leads at halfway point of Masters

The Masters- Final Round

Check Out Dustin Johnson's Insane Comeback Putt at the Masters

Tiger Woods shot a three-over 75 and is at plus-four for the tournament, but will get to play on through the weekend.

Woods became the last pro in the field to make a birdie or better at a par-5 hole by two-putting for birdies from 40 feet at 13 and 35 feet at 15. Lefty would bogey the second hole after this one, continuing his struggles from Friday.

That matched the second-worst score on his Masters record.

Reed's closest competitor, Leishman, delivered the shot of the tournament so far on Friday afternoon. But for me, Garcia's feat of golf infamy was so stunning, it's taken a full day to really sink in.

Those of you watching the US Masters this weekend will no doubt hear the name "Jeff Knox" uttered on more than one occasion.

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Patrick Reed believes in the big stick. Also missing out was 2016 victor, Danny Willett (75-76).

"I felt like I hit it off well off the tee", Woods said.

Justine Reed caddied for her husband during PGA Qualifying School.

He bogeyed the par-three 12th after sending his tee shot into Rae's Creek and while he did well to card a pair of birdies over the next three holes, he dropped another shot at the par-three 16th.

Reed is paired Saturday with Australian Marc Leishman, also trying to win his first major championship. He and McIlroy engaged in a heated, classic head-to-head in a Sunday singles match two years ago at Hazeltine. And he is eight-for-eight on birdies on the par 5s.

"I've been in this kind of position before", Reed said. "And I had a lot of attractive putts and didn't make anything".

"I played in a major championship again", he said. "It's incredible. I'm just so thankful to have this opportunity to be able to play golf again".

Rossiya TV says Skripal's niece, Viktoria , who lives in Moscow, provided it with the recording of her conversation with Yulia. Lavrov said that the expulsions of over 150 Russian diplomats by two dozen Western nations threatened global stability.

I'm very superstitious and I've had this plan for a while. "If it didn't work then I would have laid there and been even more embarrassed being pulled out on a stretcher celebrating a hole-in-one".

Right behind them? Five major champions, for starters.

For now, McIlroy and co must hunt down the inspired Patrick Reed. Then he went out and beat Spieth.

Gregory was also Reed's coach at Augusta State University, when Reed got the chance to play regular rounds at Augusta in the cold winter months. "Fairways were softer, so the ball wasn't running". "I remember having to hit a hybrid club into the green on No. 11".

"I thought the course played great".

And with heavy rain and possible high winds due Saturday, there is going to be plenty of grinding to come. Leishman, of Australia, shot a 67 to get within two strokes of Reed.

Later in the day, Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson will be streamed, as will Henrik Stenson and Rory McIlroy. 6 and 7. He began his back nine with a double bogey on No. 10 before taking three straight bogeys through Amen Corner, finally righting the ship with a birdie on No. 14. The bad news is he shot a quite blah 74 and is 13 back of the lead.

"I looked at the board".

Huge expectations led to Woods being tabbed one of the favorites at Augusta, even though he hadn't won a tournament since 2013.

A swing and a miss from an amateur can be seen from time to time on the golf course, but Phil Mickelson showed it can happen even at the highest level during the third round of the Masters.

"If I can drive like I did today, feeling wise, and hit those shots, give myself a chance, and if I clean up my iron play, I'm hitting so many handsome putts right around the hole", Woods said. If there's a tiny variance, it makes a massive difference, a 20-yard difference. "It's take your pars, and you try and take advantage of the par-5s".

Reed has done that enough.
