Apple Introduces (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 8 and 8 Plus

Last March, Apple launched a red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and discontinued those models about six months later when the initial iPhone 8 line launched.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were released in a red aluminium finish to mark 10 years of partnership between Apple and the ethical consumerism brand.

Strangely, the more luxurious iPhone X hasn't been made in red for the occasion, though Apple is introducing an iPhone X Leather Folio in red, which will get the same (RED) treatment, meaning a portion of its proceeds will go to charity. While the addition of a red color option for the iPhone 8 might result in a modest uptick in sales, the underlying motivation here is to raise money to help promote AIDS awareness and research via the (Product) RED program.

Apple will once again partner with Product (RED) on their phones.

The white front panel of the (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was something that many weren't a fan of. By the year 2004, DATA was one of the founding organizations for the ONE Campaign, a non-profit organization, which wanted to secure increased USA government funding for international-aid programs. Impressively, Apple notes that its products alone have already raised more than $160 million for the cause over the past few years.

Airlines warned of possible cruise missile strikes into Syria
Meanwhile, the Syrian government has put its forces on "high alert" amid the looming threat of a United States military response. Trump said Monday he would "forcefully" respond to an alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria and would soon decide how.

Crafted from specially tanned and finished European leather for a luxurious look and feel, the new folio joins other (PRODUCT) RED devices and accessories available for customers to purchase.

The (PRODUCT) RED Special Editions will go on sale in Australia tomorrow.

The Global Fund describes itself as a financing organization that is trying to accelerate the end not just of AIDS, but also tuberculosis and malaria.

Apple has announced a new red special edition, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Both phones sport a red glass enclosure, with a matching aluminium band and a black front.

While the iPhone 8 may not have been the stand-out phone we wanted it to be a year ago (we would have liked two cameras), the 8 Plus was one of the best you can find.
