Netflix has renewed Jessica Jones for season 3 and we couldn't be more excited than we are now.

There's no scheduled release date at this time, but we can assume that it's going to take a couple of years before the new season is available for streaming. And there's the big problem of Jessica, Trish, and Malcolm (Eka Darville) all estranged from each other, which should give the third season's writers plenty to work with.

In the debut season of the series, fans met Jessica (Krysten Ritter), an immensely strong hero who used her powers for personal profit and to uphold the justice of her clients, as opposed to preventing any burglary or assault in her neighborhood. Melissa Rosenberg serves as the series showrunner as well as executive producer along with Ruelle Tucker, Jim Chory, and Jeph Loeb.

Hines-Allen selected in the 2018 WNBA Draft
The 2018 WNBA Draft gets underway in New York City tonight and Mississippi State's Victoria Vivians will be in attendance. Basketball victor in high school, Mitchell helped lead Princeton to the Division I state title in 2014 as a senior.

In Season 2, New York City PI Jones (Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. The renewal was maybe a little more iffy than usual since Disney-Marvel's parent company-is attempting to launch its own streaming service as a one-stop-shop for all its subsidiaries (and their fans).

And of course, we'll also be hoping we won't have to wait as long as we did for season 2 for Jessica Jones season 3 to premiere on Netflix!
