Precipitation may fall early in the morning in the form of supercooled rain, which then quickly will become usual, as the temperature rises above freezing, reads the warning sent out by the national weather service.

It's hard to know exactly which areas will be affected, but areas closer to Lake Ontario and near the Highway 401 corridor may remain just above the freezing mark (meaning less-if any-ice buildup).
As this storm system is still a few days away, there is uncertainty regarding its severity.
Environment Canada has also issued an alert for a potential ice storm on Saturday and Sunday in the Cataraqui Region.
Adding to further misery, the precipitation is expected to change to several hours of freezing rain at some point on Sunday. This, combined with gusty winds of 60 km/h expected, could result in power outages from falling tree limbs and power lines.
Travel is also expected to be hazardous.
