Lue has a lot of decisions to make in regards to his rotation, but plans to go with LeBron James, Kevin Love, Jeff Green and George Hill as his starters.

"It has been pretty insane and you know through all the craziness and the different moving parts and moving pieces, I thought we did a good job of just staying together", Lue said.

"You usually go nine", he said. "I think the new group came in and I like the way they kind of came together the last 15 games of the season". "We just want to make sure that we have a point guard on the floor with him, knowing that Cory Joseph picks up full court and tries to disrupt the point guard on the opposing team". While things are certainly different this time around, the Cavaliers are without superstar point guard Kyrie Irving, and IN is without a star of their own IN small forward Paul George.

As for the Cavs' opponent, Indiana, Lue knows who to focus on.

"He's hurt us this year", Lue said of Collison.

"It's tough because we've got 12 or 13 guys who showed this year that they can play", Lue said.

"The most important thing, I think, is competing and playing hard", Lue said. The easiest way to play your first time in the playoffs is just playing hard.

The injury-plagued Cavs nearly never had everyone on their roster available during the regular season, but they might Sunday against the Pacers.

"So I think it definitely could affect it, but you know that's, at least for me, out of sight, out of mind right now".

In the meantime, Lue says Rodney Hood is "ready to go" following an Achilles injury while Kyle Korver recovers from a foot injury. All-Star Game MVP, if you need him. He was better individually in the playoffs in 2017, averaging a career-high 16.8 points and 10.6 boards, but the Cavs fell to the Warriors in five games in the Finals. Now, with Irving gone to the Boston Celtics, Love probably has to be even better in this postseason for the Cavs to have a chance at a fourth Finals. "So it's not like we were doing something special or so creative or we got some brand-new defense".
