Harrison announced his retirement on Instagram.

Longtime Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison has announced his retirement, and this time he's says it's final.

Decisions were made, though, and Harrison marked himself off the list of Steelers greats.

Other players who finished decorated National Football League careers with brief stints in New England include Reggie Wayne, John Lynch, Torry Holt and Steven Jackson.

Mourinho: Why I Substituted Pogba Again
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is "fully confident" he can lift the Premier League trophy next season. But a drop in form allowed City to race ahead, leaving the rest of the Premier League in their wake.

The New England Patriots signed Harrison three days later and used him in a key role in their run to the Super Bowl two months ago, when the Patriots lost to Philadelphia 41-33.

"I've missed way too much for way too long.and I'm done", the caption said. He immediately went to the gym.

Harrison included the hashtag #2ndAndFinalRetirement in his Instagram post Monday, so it looks like he won't be pulling a Brett Favre. As a result, Harrison played for NFL Europe's Rhein Fire in 2003 before joining the Steelers in 2004. He eventually became an NFL Defensive Player of the Year, five-time Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro in Pittsburgh. For example, in the video above, Harrison is not only lifting a barbell with weights, but he also has a cable with more weights attached to his belt.
